The thickened air blew from up north,
And whirl around the mid-west sunlight,
Wonders felt in the freezing mist,
And the poet woke from a peaceful dream.
You are a reality far from anything I know,
Still, our laughs rhymed as we shared our fun,
Romance in waking moments will not sleep,
And the poet found his muse in those eyes.
The frozen tundra was pure and bright,
My days and nights I spent with you in view,
When eyes I closed still craved that sight,
Of days where every dream of mine is you.
Similar and prettier smile I may have seen,
But my heart danced to the tunes you sang,
No other smile can bring me such glad thoughts,
Oh’ my love, my dearest feelings of mine.
Flutter around for a wonderful dream fulfillment with her.
