Story Of The Day.

Third Day Of July – 2019.

I woke up and slowly upon my bed I sat,
Walked a bit and then came back to bed,
I realized I woke up but morning is a bit late,
And I went back to love of my soft pillow.

I abandoned the dreams as in them I saw,
Unknown faces, places, and dreams about them,
I asked, “Why try to confuse a sad man?”,
Nothing else I saw and peace of sleep found me.

Afternoon spread around like a date I forgot to ask,
She sat around me, watching me in my routines,
I tried to know the pulse of her but realized,
I am miles away from myself in a lost romance.

Evening drive and festival chaos, ah’ wonderful,
Saw a lady whose countenance from behind froze,
Me on my feet but Oh’, not my Little Boss,
Smile from inside faded to make way for a sad truth.

That truth is for me to find a new day in a new way,
To live with love that never will be returned,
To love even when I know every day I will be sad,
I will live you life in the way I choose in peace.

Late night brought the surprise of my “Mystery Reader”,
As late night became late I sat in cold air and napped,
When I woke, I know, a new morning putting make up,
To bring me a smile with memories of that Little Boss.

Story Of The Day.

Second Day Of July – 2019.

She called me from silence and I remained,
The onlooker of my fading romantic fate,
Oh’ how many more tragedies I may write,
To make the world here and hereafter feel?.

Oh’ gladness please, Oh’ gladness please not,
Drown in the abyss of sadness that glitter,
In the light from far away mocking lucky stars,
Oh’ gladness feel my heartbeat for her love.

Why would away from our own gladness part,
When you and I smiled to never ever fail?
What drowned the rhythm of my heartbeat heard,
In your heart that made pretty smiles of yours prettier?

Oh’, my words for you may sound so unreal,
But tell me my dear, the dearest darling who see,
Tell me my Little Boss who hears symphony of hearts,
What is the reality of this world as we know it?

The Sun rose in the east as if it were a recital,
Of a magnificent poem when through the day moved,
Every minute a new rhythm from the heart of the living found,
Every hour a new quartet with millions of images wrote.

Questions for which answers live in your love drowned,
As the day ended in the west with Sun’s bathing rituals,
Still echoed around were the repetition of those recitals,
And searched I through nature only to find a reality.

That reality brought to me to the footsteps of yours,
Where I left my love for you and yet another silent call,
How wonderfully life rolls without touching present time?
Ah’ drown I will not in this abyss that means nothing,

As once more I say, nothing makes sense without you.

Story Of The Day.

First Day Of July – 2019.

Billions of rays of sun flown billions of miles and unleashed,
The minutes of the day through morning, noon and afternoon,
The evening hours unbound thoughts through the day gathered,
And lessened heaviness by thoughts left about past and future.

The past days like today left me without leaving a mark,
They birthed the same like last year and years before,
Oh’, no matter how far through the universe we move,
The Sun and Moon and the Stars they all stood stubborn,

To bring a blank present and gave a fear, then anger about,
The present days that unfurled like a flag the patriot left,
His flesh and blood remembered but all he fought now lifeless,
Oh’, I fought demons I know not and in all exist not in reality.

Such is the pain of love, Oh’, dearest you left in my heart,
I know the pain exists but it hurts not, as memory of your face,
Erases every bit of that pain and gives life a definition,
No else can understand but the man who loves you unconditionally.

And the night put off each ray of sun in sadness taken,
From the heart of mine trying to find a new way to see,
My love for you, ah’ my Little Boss as the world sleeps,
And through chaos of the world, your heartbeat, I still hear.
