Midnight Reverie.

Blog Post About This Poem

Alone in the back yard I stood,
Time the wonderful walker walked,
Space the carrier of time across spread,
Why am I in this space through which,
Time slowly ahead and ahead walked?
Space moved, time moved along with it all,
Unknown to all I too moved.

Midnight galloped away with her dark stallions,
Way above witnessing an onlooker of life watched,
Blinking stars in all their wonders moved,
Smiled I at those fast moving creations of God,
It’s just that God paused me in this backyard,
When all others moved way beyond,
Some even on the dark stallions fell behind,
Then there are those with all efforts to forget I tried,
Only one remained in mind, whom I forgot to make her smile.

Hide Not Within Forgetfulness

Blog Post About This Poem

Mother Nature kept her eyes closed,
As darkness all around loomed,
Winter a season many don’t want to feel
And in the season of winter upon your eyes I looked,
And warmth of care and love cloaked me.

In your warm smiles and caring words woke,
Nature all around earlier than Almanac spoke,
Nesting birds as if in meditation sang to bring rain,
In the spring rain upon your eyes I looked,
Nature stealing colors for flowers I saw.

Sun from far joined Nature’s dance,
The glitters of morning dew spread,
The pollens all around flown,
In the summer warmth upon your eyes I looked
And calm and cool the restless mind became.

Realities to my mind rushed,
Rationales in soliloquy argued,
Then I sang, forget me not O’ darling,
Forget me not, for in your heart resides,
The loving heartbeat of mine.

Enslave the body,
Enslave the actions,
Enslave the speech,
But when it comes to soul,
In love surrender it for you I will.

Hide not O’ Darling, hide not,
For in the blink of your eyes I feel,
The breath of mine synchronized,
Every breath of mine in penance I surrender,
For the gladness of yours O dear.

A thousand dreams I can weave,
But they all on the smile less face of yours will melt,
So forever to keep you smile I pledge,
So hide not if any feelings for me you have,
Spread to my mind the calmness of autumn dusks.

Sights And Sounds

Blog Post About This Poem

Thousands of rays of sun upon me fell,
As rain with her soothing sounds away from me ran,
And to the dancing rays asked,
From which lover you stole that warmth.

Every step with care laid,
As away the crickets jumped,
The fresh mowed lawn under the legs kissed,
As through plains the body mind carried.

The little stream in steadiness flowed,
The humming birds from flower to flower flown,
The wood pecker in haste again and again pecked,
The tree held the hands of wind and swayed.

From the small pond mama frog hopped,
And under the dead willow wood hid,
The wild cat in disappointment looked,
As the Cardinal after sharpening his beaks whistled.

These sights and sounds always took mind in a journey,
A journey in which foot always ahead laid,
But ageless soul rejuvenates when relived,
The wonders I thought with the childhood days gone.

The rejuvenated soul through the wilderness wandered,
Wilderness of a world made wicked by men and women,
Ah’ what wonderful ways well paved lay empty,
As journeys traveled were to inside than material.

Time the healer of all stood by and laughed out loud,
As the paths went on an on interweaving with others,
Ah’ life all through time and space played,
A melancholic melody in the rhythm of a broken heart.

The feelings of affection a soul to bury again, tried,
But the mockery of life evolved into romantic clarity,
Oh’ dreams that wept and slept all around woke,
But abandoned them all and observed to write a new verse.

The verse that will tell the story of love in everything new,
And one by one stories based on past with the new girl wrote,
As back into loneliness fell to tell the stories loud and clear,
In soliloquy and abandoned like a tree leaves the leaves in fall.

But every story that left a mark in heart that ached,
And the paths took turns to reality and fantasy surprisingly,
Echoes from past, though brutally suppressed still rang devilish bells,
Ah’ every playful push by her gave birth to demons that hid my love,

Away from my heart to doubts and indiscipline and past acts of failure,
And again and again she pushed to stay out of sight making me an unbeliever,
Of love, romance and every good that comes from every act of care.
Oh’ prayers failed as passions eroded and the demons danced in ecstasy.

Winter fell ill as the armies of Spring defeated the frost and cold,
All the feelings she pushed away under the icy cold lake,
Started flowing as Spring erased all that blocked,
Mind found ways to kill every demonic thought and found a new prayer.

Oh’ those sights and sounds that echoed from the childhood days,
Joined hands with the singing Spring to erase every mark,
To rejuvenate heart into love when looked into the bright eyes of her,
One last time romance prepared the story of love that forever unites us.

Tragedy Of A Middle Aged Bachelor

Blog Post About This Poem

The nightly stars one by one bowed away,
Far across the landscape darkness bound,
The spring mist with hollow dreams,
The wind in haste joined them in dance,
The lame morning somewhere in east yawned.

The old moon hid under the blanket of light,
Lazy birds from branch to branch of a flowerless tree hopped,
No songs, just screeches of nesting nightly bugs,
Bats with stomach full upside down lay and flapped their wings,
The blank journal page in light cold breeze turned.

The tired eyes in waiting for an unseen daydream drooped,
None seen as all ended like the journal page by breeze turned,
As everyday felt like yesterday,
And yesterday to tomorrow cloned.
Yet another spring morn between yesterday and tomorrow lost.

A New View Of Beauty.

Blog Post About This Poem

When in the east spring sun woke
Towards the west I looked,
And more glory upon your face I saw,
Than the glory of the mist shrouded sun.

Into those eyes merged,
The rays from every corner of nature reflected,
And each ray from your eyes rebirth,
Showing the world a new line of poem,
A new view of beauty.

In your soul with trust my love I leave,
As in your soul my love will become,
A poem of beauty, a prayer of sanctity,
And an anthem that echo beyond eternity.

My Darling

Blog Post About This Poem

From far, far away my mind thrives for you,
To see those eyes, to hear those words from you,
Beauty that all kinds of perfection defines,
And glow in every way in purity divine.

The essence of all happiness in this world,
Life of every hope in this world,
In the liveliness of those eyes resides,
And the pained in your beauty confides.

Oh’ so long I was thinking about you,
So long I was thinking about you,
I was thinking about you O My Darling.

The flame upon every heart that you spread,
When seen your eyes, in my mind happiness spreads,
And to my mind I say,
Calm down now, without a sway.

Candles, colors, balloons and creams,
None can hide your soul that streams,
Passions my mind, absorb and writes,
And for your arrival my mind waits,

Oh’ so long I was waiting for you,
So long I was waiting for you
I was waiting for you O My Darling.

In the gloom of life for lucky stars I searched,
No way any of them, my life fetched,
All blessings to my life came,
But unloved and uncared, shadow of truth life became.

Every way the unloved life stretched,
To find peace of mind I again searched,
From darkness to my life you came,
The true warrior angle you became,

Oh’ So long I was looking for you,
So long I was looking for you,
I was looking for you O My Darling.

So long I was thinking about you,
So long I was waiting for you,
So long I was looking for you, O My Darling.

Prayers.

Blog Post About This Poem

Feelings known in a lifetime spent,
On just one moment filled with love,
Oh’ that moment only in dreams I spent,
As rusted mind rested over lazy migraines.

Gather me O evening Gather me,
From the wrath that scattered me,
Wrath morning and noon given,
The frozen chill peppers in ice cream cones given.

Through the jungle like a hungry wolf ran,
Thorns and stones pierced all over,
Still the hunger to be the love of those eyes,
Oh’ no pain, no hurdles ever mattered over that.

Only in love to you I approached,
Though blood from many veins this wolf drank,
Ah’ what benefit you may have if given,
A skeleton of love with no meat and blood.

For all that a myth I hunt,
Forgiveness a myth, as headless ghost wander,
With my bow and arrows that ghost I will hunt,
Arrows pierced dipped in blood and through air fired,
Air filled with verses of love chanted,
Changed in meditation of prayers,
Prayers meant only for you and your love.

The Curse Of The LonelyPoet.

It is better for the reader to read all the blogs connected to these poems written in different times to clearly understand the poems.

The Curse Of The LonelyPoet.

From the day I remember things in life,
Hazy but comforting a face in mind I saw,
For a glimpse of the real I waited,
But without a sight I outlived time.

When in life the smile of love I may see?
Don’t know the fate don’t know the secrets of the feeling,
All guesses and unfulfilled wishes.

Oh’ the winds changed its course,
Like bunches of fresh blossomed Jasmine,
In front of me you stood as the fulfillment,
Of fortunes, of blessings of heart,
You are the face of all blessings of mine, I said,
No darkness can fade your face from my mind,
The whole mankind may doubt and try
To change the course of my righteous love,
Otherwise mankind can’t be called likewise,
If they cast a doubt in my mind, I cursed,
The curse of loneliness will melt me,
In the flames of your conscience.

The course of time and crooked minds outplayed,
With my love for her in doubts of her sanctity,
And forever I lost her, the blessing of my life,
And forever I’ll live in my own curse.

The Curse Of The LonelyPoet.
Part II.

From childhood days a dream I saw,
In there a little girl lived and spoke,
To me in the language of birds in sweetest voice,
Brighter than gold shined, the yellow dress she worn,
And she told me stories I always loved to hear,
And from those days every new moon day she appeared,
In my dreams and words of care in verse of love she whispered,
Every time she appeared told a story of a longing heart filled,
With hope, passions and sweetness of love,
And onto that heart her journey she traveled,
And every time she ended the dream she left,
A message that one day will come when real she will become.

Along with me into adolescent years she grew,
And her stories bettered through years,
Her prettiness she shown in her eyes,
Those that shined bright like two twinkling stars,
And for every new moon day for her and her stories I waited,
Never ever I had a companion as I waited,
For her to become real and be with me forever.

Oh’ but that day never came as stories in repetition she told,
And a message of wonderful words she always left,
And every time I asked she told
“O my dear, my dearest there will be a day that will come,
When faces no longer seen, magic no longer worked,
Wonders no longer believed, days no longer long,
Nights filled with stars and cold not fully felt,
And on that day real in front of you I will stand,
Be there; be sure to accept the truth,
For in the world of dreams, truth and false are same,
And in the world you live truth is all that matters.”

Years passed, four decades the dream consumed me,
Lands changed and in the land where Halloween celebrated,
And there came a night full of stars, faces not seen,
Nothing I remembered of the dream as innocent hearts,
For trick-or-treat came and to them all candies I gave,
When laying on the couch near midnight a knock I heard,
Casual, lazy old me walked to the door and opened,
In all yellow there she was, my dream girl in real, in front,
Jumped into my hands and upon my lips kissed again and again,
Then pushing me back she told,
“O my dear, my dearest, my days with you are over,
Remember that girl when asked to play with you, you ignored,
I am her curse upon you, in her sadness, in her mind she said,
Never will you have a companion as all will be a wonderful dream,
And all your good manly years along with you I lived you fool,
Now none will love you and none will be a companion,
And my job with you finished and I will be gone,
After fulfilling the promise I gave,
Go into the depths of loneliness and live,
As every hurt you leave will wield a curse,
And as for you, your curse came here this way,
The forty kisses for forty years of loneliness,
A hundred and forty more years of loneliness,
Upon this earth will come to you and you should live”

Then into the darkness she vanished,
Looking up at the sky I once more wondered,
Why were I born and why did I lived and why should I live,
Then to my own soul I said,
“Hundred and forty more years to live,
What a wonderful life that will be,
None to bother and nothing to be bothered about,
Now we know that its just us from here on”

While closing the door once more up on to the sky I looked
And saw two twinkling stars, like those wonderful eyes.

The Curse Of The LonelyPoet.
Part III.

See through the light from my soul,
See the love in my soul that glows,
Darkness is nothing strange to the true lover,
Ah’ nothing on Earth stay as is forever.
I laid all the light in my soul for you to see,
See the love for you glow in me.

Maybe a thousand lines of verse about us I already wrote,
Wrote in soul, memories, in a thousand years to come can remember,
Oh’ you are the flower, who withstood the winter storm,
You are the star that shines without any mass inside,
But for me you chose to leave,
Leave only a silhouette of gladness.

The phantoms of past faceless danced,
And about you again and again I thought,
Dragged along with a life consumed,
With crooked fate and dark times,
Oh’ the shining of a blessing I once saw,
The shining of a lucky star in the soul of yours,
But why ye chose again to throw,
Me back into the mighty dark of past.

Kindness of you I will not take,
Anger of you with love I will subdue,
And the loving me you can never curse,
Into oblivion my love will go,
Only your love for me can rekindle in me smile and love,
Until that day every object on the face of this planet I curse,
Not to feel the love of mine.

The Whistle Of Winds.

There is no written blog about this poem. Earlier today I posted a video blog about this on LonelyPoet.Org called Tilting Tuesday.

The noon time sun upon the roads blazed,
Mirages shown streams flowing ahead,
Oh’ a journey for fun once started,
Then became a passion in which thrived,
Now became a burden unwanted.

Silence deeper into soul penetrated,
Gone by days in memory like view master images stored,
Oh’ what a wonderful life it was for many others,
Still images fading colors, passed with every click of the clock,
Choices well made, fate betrayed, still the joker inside joked.

The masters of life drank from the streams ahead they saw,
Intoxicated they lived losing the sharpness of senses,
Oh’ from among those who lost and senseless spoke,
Who all convinced in the sorcery of evil as the light of life,
Ran far, far away though the mirages kept on hunting.

The movement stopped, nothing of life seen anymore,
The mirages so thick, fear of drowning in mind filled,
Oh’ then the silence from soul erased,
As the whistle of winds, ears, both in body and mind heard,
In it were a well composed tune that gave me your feeling of love.

Smiling Sleeper.

Blog Post About This Poem

Creepy creatures of night screeched,
As moon like a half eaten cotton candy watched,
Deep into mind fear of night spoke,
But this uncaring lover only smiled.

Water from afternoon rain still rolled,
The pebbles through the narrow spring,
And the sleepless chameleon for a nighttime meal crawled.

Petal after petal from the bud split,
And the flower all around spread,
Scent from heavens came for lovers feel more loved.

Yet another night passing by,
As sleepless I watched,
And in deep thoughts how to make you happy spent,
Day and night in prayers that spoke words of your love,
Oh’ nothing are my efforts comparable to the love you give,
As I still can feel your love,
Even when with a smiling face you sleep.
