The Loving Gardener

Hello my friends, how are you all doing? I hope everyone is doing fantastic in this spring. My whereabouts cannot be disclosed anymore. So just to let you know that I am doing good. My sincere apologies for not getting to many of you as I was terribly busy. Hope you all will forgive me for that. My second book is done and I hope by summer or early fall it will be in stores. Aha, you all read the word hope many times so far. Well that kinda tells it, a lot of things are still in hopes. Anyway, I am doing a good job with the whole blogtv thing. That keeps me away from most of my other activities. Well here is a poem I wrote and it took sometime for me to add it here as it should be made part of RIAZAHAMMED.COM for copyright reasons. This is a poem written out of no where, I will give a detailed explanation how I got into it in a video later. What started it all and how I expanded it. Before I end this post let me tell ya.. feelings are hard to abandon when it is the truth and the pain, unbelievably hard to swallow. If anyone can, it is better not to love at all in life.

The Loving Gardener.

The shining sun smiled upon all creations of God,
Silence way upon the hill took her sleep,
As morning through the valley spread, unopposed.

When weeds with their flowers in pride stood,
And later with the naughty wind danced,
And gave a handful of pollen to spread far,
Oh life once again screamed, in every corner of nature.

Gardens of all kinds people built,
As old and new houses alike brightened,
In the middle of them in new colors of all kinds,
Giving thought, how wonderful hearts of those owners are.

Steps always slowed around the Garden Street,
As to see at least one owner mind always wished,
Never ever anyone seen in those gardens with flowers filled,
Still the smiles of flowers made mind to dance with them.

On that day as usual eyes made legs so slow,
And then I saw her pruning a rose plant in the evening light,
Every flower in shyness waited to be touched by her,
As far more beauty on her face one can see.

Can’t stop as the world and her may only think all wrong,
Still heart stopped for a moment or two,
Then to me with a smile she looked,
As if reading every thought in this poetic mind.

Every beautiful feeling every sense in mind ever came,
Merged all and gave the ink to write these lines in mind,
And looking into her eyes in my mind I said,
“In your eyes a hundred lines of verses sleep,
Lucky I will be if I at least one line of verse I can wake
With the blessing from those smiles I can steal,
And let the world knowing that soul will always live in love”.

Then I knew she indeed read my mind,
As in giggles she ran back to her home holding,
A bunch of lucky flowers that felt her touch,
Giving one more glance and that pretty smile,
When closing the material door,
Leaving spiritual ones open.

Hopes In A Bright Spring Day.

Spring time weaved by nature in perfection,
And warmth came from all sides and consumed,
Every bit of life and unfreezing,
Even the depths of minds frozen by dark winter.

And shown in all wonders of nature all around,
The cool drizzle, the giggle of Mother Nature,
The sprouting trees, the smile of Mother Nature,
The nesting birds, the children of Mother Nature.

In the nesting time of the birds looking for mates,
Males and females flying around singing,
Their squeaking, dancing and the flight, so wonderful to see,
The beauty unfolded and through my viewing glass, enjoyed.

One bird waiting to find a mate, I watched,
Hours the bird all around flew,
A wonderful nest with comforts of all kinds built,
And after every flight with food of all kinds returned.

Then jumped from branch to branch
The waiting and the singing then flying around,
Though no honey found so early in spring,
The love from mind O sweeter than sweetest waited.

Then from far came the wonderful bird,
With all colors and sweetest songs,
The squeaking and kissing the elusiveness of mate,
The chasing through the air in high speed flight,
Oh’ songs and love of birds filled the air,
And filled the mind of a poet too.

Oh what wonderful ways nature builds nest for us,
And what beautiful ways we find life all around,
Looking at these birds and the hopes of a wonderful spring,
With beauty, love and happiness filled,
Reflecting from within a moment of joy,
Though alone, still with happiness of what seen,
At the end of the day with my viewing glass I walked,
Once more into lonely but bright road,
Where hopes like wild weeds sprouted,
With colors of all kinds dipped in love.

Deep Rooted Love

Here my latest poem in Audio Video and Text with blog comments.

Deep Rooted Love.

Vowed to be soul mates forever,

Wonderful everything felt from soul,

What wonderful life they both dreamed,

When walking out of the white brick church.

She was mine, she was mine, onlooker screamed,

Groom readily agreed and said,

“She was yours now she is mine” and at her he smiled,

Another man said not from far, ‘She used me”,

Groom with his head raised said,

“To climb every height one need a stepping stone”,

And looked deep into the eyes of the man who said,

“She is the mother of my child” an old man said,

“Experience add to her quality” without hesitation groom said,

Held her hands and to the gates he walked,

“Why take the hand of such a bitch” a middle aged woman asked,

To her with the bride in pride he walked and said,

“All the men with whom she slept,

All the men who betrayed her in the name of love,

Everyone with passion and compassion she took,

And everyone left her after lust left their mind,

I too went to many with same kinda lust,

And saw no sparkle in their eyes,

And felt no butterflies in my belly,

They all left me after their lust left their mind,

Then to her I went to kill one night’s lust,

And found her kneeling to god and pray,

To bring a man of kindness in that night,

And then to my own conscience I asked,

If that man be me Oh’ how wonderful God may feel,

And to her on one knee I asked to fulfill her heartfelt prayer,

And she in tears kissed me when she said yes”.

None spoke, some walked in opposite ways,

Some wiped away the new born tears,

And a wind slowly opened the gates,

And they both hand in hand out to the world in haste walked.

Old Wine

Old Wine

Crowded world, real, digital and fantasy,

Good thoughts, great actions, bad thoughts and weirdness,
Oneself to forgive, from mind to forget,
Ah’ tired after trying again and again,
As hopes about an innocent soul lingered,
Though in all ways inappropriate,
Still, in those days, mind with gladness filled.
Oh’ a feeling with sweetness deep inside felt,
Sweet and intoxicating as the best wines made,
The feelings of care and dreams of romance sprouted,
And spread like vines through every veins,
Beauty of her colored every dream and wish,
Beauty of her soul enlightened the depths of soul,
And her smiling image erased nights forever.
Mind conflicted with values of the world,
Love for her should never materialize, mind yelled,
As hopes, dreams and wishes all failed,
To define what a middle-aged can feel about a teen,
Still good in the soul out-reigned,
And erased every hope, dreams and wishes for her love.
The barrels of wine kept away,
In deep cellars sealed with millions of kisses.
Moon went around earth many, many times,
Sun stood staring firing rays at will,
Earth went around the sun many times too,
Time hop, step and leaped through it all.
Crowded world, real, digital and fantasy,
Good thoughts, great actions, bad thoughts erased,
In the learnings from past pastimes,
Pretty eyes and soft skin,
Great souls and feelings of romance,
Barrels from cellars rolled out,
Wine aged well now more intoxicating.
And for the best one, wine will be served.

To My Dearest

Hello Everyone…
I thought this winter is a mild one but woooo it is freezing many things I really don’t want to say here. . Life is easy when one takes things as it happens. That’s what I do. And you know what… it is far better than when I made a weekly plan. mmmm that’s just not me though well we evolve in character isn’t it? Yes is my answer. Hope you all are doing fine in the harsh grip of winter. I love Wisconsin cold and of course I love ,… yeah no need to say it.

This poem.. I may have written a poem with the same name long ago. mmm I don’t know. When I was in BlogTV a young girl came to me and asked me to reply to a yahoo question. It was her friend who asked the question about what to do about that girls boyfriend leaving her. I replied but my young friend came back and requested if I can write something that will help her bring him back. I asked about their relationship and went to the lonely hut to write it. This is the poem I wrote. Enjoy

To My Dearest.

My dearest days are those in which,
With your feelings from heart you made me feel,
Me the dearest with your care and love
And the beauty of all the stars in my soul I felt.

Even when silence around us danced,
Still your love spoke to my soul,
Blooming every bud of my love,
In the depth of my soul and every bit of me.

From those flowers of love in my soul awakened,
Dreams filled with wishes and our moments together.
Then when away you walked with only a friendly smile,
Tears melted all those flowers from my heart and soul.

Away and away I tried to run,
The more I tried the more back to you dragged,
As deep from my soul a cry I heard,
Of my love to you, Oh’ my dear, my dearest.

Fear I not as love fill my heart,
Anger I am not as love made me smile,
Happiness eluded and as a butterfly around me fly,
But without you sadness will consume every bit of my life.

Come back to me O dear, Come back to me,
Come and take these trembling hands,
As my love for you outgrown every sense of mine,
Come back to me O dear and wipe these tears of mine.

This is the BlogTV feature recording of yesterday. You can hear me reciting this poem there. As usual there are some words I stumble upon. Enjoy

A Chat With Life

A chat with a friend gave me a bad news… she told me, she is engaged now and is going to get married. Great news, but she asked me to tell one of my best friends and great fan of me the news. She don’t want him to talk to her again. I know it will break his heart. But I have to do it

The poem I promised I didn’t finished I just typed this one. I have no reason to write this poem. Just typed whatever that came to my mind and then I read it. I liked it.

BlogTV life is good hehehe. I took a whole bunch of my friends and reached there. So I am not bored. Some kids are real pests there but… I always remember what my father told me sometime before he died… Respect your elders and be kind to youngsters. So I don’t ban a lot of them. It is a lot of fun there. When I get featured it makes me a bit nervous as I know I am in the front page and whoever comes to that site see me first. Daang.. then they record me.. oh boy. I am not used to that kinda focus of attention. You know I am the lonelypoet so I play my poems there, old recordings now came to use hehehe. Hope you all are finding some ways to enjoy this screwed up new year. Daang one month is almost gone. Got to go … Love ya all. Before I go… “Lady Of The Woods” nice nick… love you too. Hahaha.

Read the poem.

New Blog Post About This Poem

A hundred thunders broke the silence,
And rain in wrath fell upon with vengeance unknown,
The creepy creatures to run away tried,
But swept away in the flash flood came.

Oh’ what better way can I describe some years passed,
What wonders can I lie about to make all happy,
And I have nothing more than tears to offer,
To all who love me as who I am.

Back at my life I look,
And find it took a monster look,
Merged with fate and those crooked faces,
Oh’ it haunts in silence and darkness.

Ten thousand thunders upon head may fall,
And in the wrath of fate may drown,
But succumb I will not and in a box will sit,
But will wrap you my life as a cloak, I one day may leave.

So come to light and bring me light,
Let the forces unreal fade like shadows,
And harm none as we walk,
Leaving grudges and pain for all those crooked minds.

And bring me light from that wonderful soul,
And bring to mind every delight,
But even if you throw the dark clouds across
Between me and that loving soul

Oh’ who needs you my life to give sight,
To the feeling of love from the depths of my soul.
As there too I will wrap you life,
As the binding force of my love for her.

Cling to me O life, cling to me,
For you will see the best worker, the best faithful,
The most loyal, and above all the best lover,
Spread before me O life and let me kindle,
All those candles, the keys to eternity.

Poet And The Massager

I will be back with a new poem later in the weekend.

To A Young Girl

This poem was written with vague images. The vagueness was deliberately put in so be careful before making any judgments.

Most part of this poem was written about two and a half years ago. I never thought I will post it or even to take it and read it again. The truth about this poem is very nasty and ugly when one looks at it from a distance, but in the details I found, there are couple of great souls that came at each other and one found other ways. But the other one was me who couldnt find a way out. It is at that point I wrote this poem. It was an attempt I really dont know why I wrote it. But I did and felt really weird. Recently I offered the character in this poem something and I felt like a stranger with the response and then I realized, Oh yeah I am a stranger and felt a bit stupid. Today morning while driving some more of this poem popped up in my head and after reaching work I added that. I tried hard to find a proper conclusion to this poem I just couldnt do it in the way I wanted, because at a point mind just went blank which anyone will understand once one reaches the end of this poem.

Read And Enjoy.

To A Young Girl

Once upon a time when time too stood still,

When darkest paths passed but darkness still remained,

When lucky stars faded and fate onto my life frowned,

Came to life a little girl, an angel with glow of life filled.

One thought of her words of good wishes,

Erased all darkness and into life brought light.

From reality to fantasy and a respected figure of fantasy,

And that fantasy figure placed herself upon the little angel.

Thoughts of respect and care merged,

And into a full bloomed garden became,

A garden with flowers and fruits filled,

A garden where birds always sung,

A garden where wishes always fulfilled,

A garden so wonderful none ever wanted to leave,

But the righteousness of me and appropriateness of truth,

Burned that garden in the mind grew,

And in seven seas the ashes scattered.

As stranger I am to the life of her,

As to it only from far away I can look,

Never wanted to meet her and never wanted to talk,

Never wanted to lie and to her never I lied,

Never wanted to pain but her blessed words always I seek.

Still she became the flower that forever will remain bloomed,

She became a darling of spiritual blessings,

She became the budding rose of colors I know not,

She became a life long event that leaves,

A pinch of happiness in every moment of her memory,

She became a star that carries the luck of mine,

And stars always stay far, far away,

Not knowing who received the blessing of her,

As for the lucky one who can only look from far,

Knowing one day that star will burn away,

But she will remain bright and twinkle,

As much as time can take me and from then forever,

And I could do nothing ever to change what reality brought.

Oh every new seed I sowed failed to grow,

In the place where that beautiful garden grew,

That land none can destroy and I never will,

As somewhere still in memories remain,

The images of a flower filled garden,

And never will I love as never ever I can,

As nothing can grow in that wasteland anymore.

Ray Of Light And A Curse.

This is the first time I am posting two poems of this size in one post. As it is a weekend… take your time and read…

Not a lot of bloging these days or writing going on. I got caught up with many things. Nothing wild just surviving. I once in a while watch election related news. Then check my portfolio where most of the share I bought now has less than a dollar value. hehehe. I am the wisest failure in stocks too.  Well there are people upon whom the economy have no impact. They think lets just enjoy life, daang, what are they thinking. I don’t know their mentality. One of my favorites here called me an ‘Extremist’ for saying it. hehehe. mmm calling a Muslim guy an extremist is pretty strong in these times, and for what? saying my opinion about the economy? But she is a darling little friend whom I could never be angry at. Still extremist? Hey, I have no beard and turban. I am a Sufi Muslim, we Sufis believe that the ink from the pen of the scholar is mightier than the blood on the sword of the martyr. We Sufi Muslims write poetry and dance chanting in praise of God ( I only walk back and forth, no dancing with a 40 inch belly hehehe) and we don’t explode in the middle of the public. We spread love not hatred. It is bad out there economically… and I know that very well. Hope not many of my readers are hit by the bad economy. As you don’t need to pay to read my poems bad economy or not it just don’t matter in my site. Well one need to pay for the internet. But it is better to read sad poems than be sad thinking about the lost value of ones house or the money that vanished from ones 401K. Maybe this is a good time to have healthy habits in eating, exercising and even thinking.

If you are a regular reader of my poems you might have come across at least 4 poems that sounds very similar to the poem that follows in the last three years. Unfortunately, the reality that I depicted in this poem in real happens and it is a repetition that haunts like a curse. Well not like a curse, looks like it is a curse.

Metallica – Nothing Else Matters

The Ray Of Light

Amygdalia

A Pure Soul.

Silence inside the mind nested,

Then like migrating birds silence all around spread,

And through many paths gone,

Where darkness in celebration danced,

Celebration of loneliness and heartless immorality.

Oh’ life by wrongdoings and mistakes shredded,

Then by stormy thoughts scattered,

Paths passed by lies, deception, tears and prayers filled,

Tears shed to correct the incorrect and failed,

Prayers prayed seeking forgiveness of sins committed,

Oh’ life left sarcastic smiles upon a bruised face.

Every moment left nightmarish memories,

And through it all unheard, unsought and unloved lived,

Words can’t describe the squeezing feeling,

And screams can’t relieve the pain, excruciating.

Meaningless, aimless days spread to weeks,

And weeks to months and they all pushed,

Through years of a rejected mind filled with lonely dreams.

Oh’ a lover, who loved and became a poet,

A poet who only wrote about love,

And only by disappointments loved,

And by faceless phantoms in fantasy of expected reality.

Light lost its meaning from a darkened life,

Though the sun still shined way above,

And that darkness through every view spread,

And it was in the dance of darkness, silence joined.

Oh’ how many times into the dark hole fallen,

And every time in hope looked, deeper and deeper fell.

Then came Amygdalia as a ray of light,

Brighter than the sun she shined,

Warmer than all love existed, warmth she spread,

Beauty of a soul she shown,

Beauty of character she shown,

Stretched her arms in innocence filled charms,

And in front of it all dissolved the darkness surrounded.

Every word she spoke, every gestures she shown,

Oh’ woke up a mind forever in virtual death left.

By the hard rock tunes silence subdued,

Mind too danced in joy and hope,

And dreams weaved in virtue of promises and shared love.

Oh’ two passion filled eyes in that ray of light seen,

Those thick dark curly hair and in the middle a wonderful face,

But through it all everyone looked felt, a loving soul.

But for her all a game in a virtual world,

The laughs and dance, the silly jokes and remarks,

Her anger and sadness and the drunken screams,

Oh’ Amygdalia in her awe forgot,

Games in a virtual world changed,

Into serious reality, far, far away from her,

Amid the poetic wonderful words she forgot,

Empty hands she has not,

Even when she told her love to a poetic soul, she forgot,

An empty soul she has not.

From fantasy, from virtual O both plunged to reality,

And dragged not the joy and wonder she did not,

Honesty and integrity she shown instead,

In words and deeds apologetic she turned off,

The ray of light that spread hope and love,

Leaving soul once more in the clutches of love,

Only disappointment in colorless images can give,

But the light she left in soul remained,

Yet another face embedded in soul,

But as a ray of light in dark paths ahead forever will shine.

In my first published book Age Of Survival I wrote a poem called The Curse Of The LonelyPoet. It was written out of a real event. Now this poem with the same name… from some recent real life events I wrote a story of total fantasy. As it is Halloween I thought it will be a good occasion to post it here. I added a Halloween part also in the poem. Everyone, enjoy Halloween.

The Curse Of The LonelyPoet.

Part II

From childhood days a dream I saw,

In there a little girl lived and spoke,

To me in the language of birds in sweetest voice,

Brighter than gold shined, the yellow dress she worn,

And she told me stories I always loved to hear,

And from those days every new moon day she appeared,

In my dreams and words of care in verse of love she whispered,

Every time she appeared told a story of a longing heart filled,

With hope, passions and sweetness of love,

And onto that heart her journey she traveled,

And every time she ended the dream she left,

A message that one day will come when real she will become.

Along with me into adolescent years she grew,

And her stories bettered through years,

Her prettiness she shown in her eyes,

Those that shined bright like two twinkling stars,

And for every new moon day for her and her stories I waited,

Never ever I had a companion as I waited,

For her to become real and be with me forever.

Oh’ but that day never came as stories in repetition she told,

And a message of wonderful words she always left,

And every time I asked she told

“O my dear, my dearest there will be a day that will come,

When faces no longer seen, magic no longer worked,

Wonders no longer believed, days no longer long,

Nights filled with stars and cold not fully felt,

And on that day real in front of you I will stand,

Be there; be sure to accept the truth,

For in the world of dreams, truth and false are same,

And in the world you live truth is all that matters.”

Years passed, four decades the dream consumed me,

Lands changed and in the land where Halloween celebrated,

And there came a night full of stars, faces not seen,

Nothing I remembered of the dream as innocent hearts,

For trick-or-treat came and to them all candies I gave,

When laying on the couch near midnight a knock I heard,

Casual, lazy old me walked to the door and opened,

In all yellow there she was, my dream girl in real, in front,

Jumped into my hands and upon my lips kissed again and again,

Then pushing me back she told,

“O my dear, my dearest, my days with you are over,

Remember that girl when asked to play with you, you ignored,

I am her curse upon you, in her sadness, in her mind she said,

Never will you have a companion as all will be a wonderful dream,

And all your good manly years along with you I lived you fool,

Now none will love you and none will be a companion,

And my job with you finished and I will be gone,

After fulfilling the promise I gave,

Go into the depths of loneliness and live,

As every hurt you leave will wield a curse,

And as for you, your curse came here this way,

The forty kisses for forty years of loneliness,

A hundred and forty more years of loneliness,

Upon this earth will come to you and you should live”

Then into the darkness she vanished,

Looking up at the sky I once more wondered,

Why were I born and why did I lived and why should I live,

Then to my own soul I said,

“Hundred and forty more years to live,

What a wonderful life that will be,

None to bother and nothing to be bothered about,

Now we know that its just us from here on”

While closing the door once more up on to the sky I looked

And saw two twinkling stars, like those wonderful eyes.
