Now many people may ask what can it do. These space weather alerts are based on Solar Storms. They are geomagnetic storms that comes from the Sun. As they are geomagnetic and our brain functions with the use of electric pulses better don’t make any major decisions, do not enter into arguments and postpone any activity that needs a lot of thinking. This may all sound silly. But believe me I have first hand experience with these.

The Greenbay Packers my darling football team did not break my heart, they just disgraced everyone who passionately believed in them. Bad preparations defensively cost the Packers everything everyone dreamed about. Anyway this season is over and it is time for Mike McCarthy to go back to the drawing board and start over and make some tough decisions. I love my Packers and felt a bit disappointed and getting over it now, needed to take some deep breaths to keep the blood pressure from going sky high. 

On another note, a lot of people are saying one should not watch ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ or give any awards for that movie. Couple of my friends while having coffee with me have had this discussion, usually I will jump into this conversation but most of the time I was thinking about the movie for which Kathryn Bigelow won an Oscar. My bad memory didn’t get me anywhere in the end as people as patriotism, political partisanship all where getting heated up between my friends I asked,

“Folks do you remember the name of the movie for which Kathryn Bigelow won an Oscar?”

They both looked at me, then in a dramatic way they both looked at each other. Surprisingly both took their phones and started browsing IMDB one even misspelled Kathryn’s name.

I told them “Stop, just stop” they both looked up at me. I continued “See the movies Kathryn Bigelow makes are powerful emotion seekers, like a seer sucker missile it goes and hits and then what remains is only damage. She is one of the best directors I know but the material she brings are horrible”

The girl beside me told “Riaz, don’t be..” by that time I put my hand on her mouth and told “Hey you both were not able to remember the name of the movie so I rest my case” her boyfriend by that time said “hmmm it is Hurt Locker”

I got up and said..”See you both need to see the movie couple of times before you decide if it should get an Oscar or not, just because it shows torture scenes doesn’t mean it is a bad movie, I will judge none before I see the movie at least couple of times. But like I said earlier, if it were me I will make or write movies that will leave a long lasting impression in the mind of the viewers than make movies people will forget in couple of years.” then I said byes to both of them and got out of Alterra Coffee shop and walked into the parking lot. On my way to downtown I thought about how people come to quick conclusions. Be it a movie, job, politics or anything else in society stereotyping is a dangerous move then I asked myself “Did I just stereotyped Kathryn Bigelow as a horrible movie maker?” I smiled and looked ahead and said aloud “No, she is a fantastic movie maker” and drove into a night filled with people trying to party away the depression their love (Packers) left in their hearts.

Really? The legal experts can say whatever they want. They can define the constitution in many different ways. Party appointed judges can write any decree. But above all there is something called the will of the people. The Judiciary is part of the government, which of course is created by the people. If the judiciary is not going stand with the government to avoid an economic collapse then the judiciary is against the people for a piece of paper called the constitution. We are heading towards that crisis. I don’t think the judiciary will stand against the will of the people for some interpretation of the constitution by some mindless partisan politician. What Obama should “DO” is make couple of trillion dollar coins and go in that direction telling congress to follow or congress can sit on the potty they are sitting now. Americans needs action and no matter what action happens people will stand with those actions.

Fountains Of Bellagio – My Heart Will Go On By Celine Dion. 

Roots, yeah, roots, I smell them. A true follower will know exactly what I mean. I wrote some of these lines as part of another poem. I first discarded those lines then I pulled it out and wrote a reality, a truth.

 

Isolation.

 

Water bubbles upon the cold pebbles danced

The stream purified the nature from the impurities

Left by humanity in their brutal cruelty

Ah’ Mother Nature her virginity regained.

 

The broken bubble added a new note

To the music of the flowing river

The chirping birds took a dip and shivered

In the water made cold by the northern winds.

 

The air so good, the feeling so great at the end of fall

The fallen leaves as green summer’s monuments gathered

Ah’ in my mind too a monument of feelings built

With loving words as building blocks you gave.

 

Now the love I felt you leave under summer’s monuments

Ah’ I let the cold winds of fall with smell of winter, freeze

The images and feelings of a sunny summer of wonders

Oh’ all I feel is the Earth and all in there moving far, far.

Truth at times can be very explicit, accepting it is not easy, that’s the reality that drives many youth to drugs, alcohol and violence these days.

Good Morning everyone… Actually the morning is too bright to be good and damn cold too here in my neck of the woods. In the coming days you are folks are going to see some real nice poems from me.

Here is my firs poem this year. Took a little while to get things in order. This I would say is not the best of my efforts. I confess, I lost the catalyst between the poet and his poem.

The Light Of Dreams.

 

Night fell all across the town binding
Everything with a breath of cold
Darkness moaned in ecstasy of some salvation
Drowning many minds into dreamless sleep.

Sun, though far made his mighty leap
Day as the smile of Mother Nature birthed
He Woke from sleep but like a zombie walked
As an empty soul can’t find the needed light.

The morning dragged her feet all over him
As the vibrations of love ceased in his heart
Desperation rode her chariots through his veins
And as a dark witch into his empty soul screamed.

All around him filled were his favorites
The house, furnitures and books
All joined the witch and aloud at him screamed,
Ah’ the lost lover fell as a misfit for the world around.

Then from the couch he stood up
And told to himself and the dark witches around
“Tied to none is my soul now but untied never it will be
As love lied to me about future days that just birthed.

Let the world be a world of its own or me just myself
Ah’ the light of my life all around me I pawned
And my conscience in the world of unloved, blinded
Bearing silhouettes of a beauty who I thought loved.

And when dark moments like this to my life comes
I talk to the silhouette of that beauty as if I talk now
That to the forefront of my thoughts brings a face
A face no dark witch from my mind can erase.”

At the corner of the room a candle was lit
And the dark witch fell of the chariot and faded
The wonderful face from the silhouette around him danced
As the world in darkness fell, the light of his dreams she became.

Welcome 2013 to my life. As usual I felt good when welcoming the new year. Felt like holding a little baby in my hands, at the same time, I made a little prayer for the year that just passed away. I buried 2012 with no honors. 2012 was a year in which I made the worst ever mistake of my life. So that is buried and gone and I washed my hands and said “I took a swing at fate with all my might and determination, now I know I was way wrong. My sincere apologies to myself and my fate. However I still acknowledge the very fact that I was right in many more ways than in one wrong I did. So I sincerely believe the right buried the wrong along with the year 2012”

I went to see Hobbit yesterday. It is an “OK” movie. I won’t even spell the whole “Okay”. I felt that it was a little too long in the 3^rd quarter. Can’t wait to see the rest of the Hobbit movies.

Now I am sitting at home relaxing a bit after a long night with a smile and thought, ‘I am not going after any girl in “Permanent PMS” like a home schooled boy who was just let go out of his home’ I am glad my weight is getting under control but I still have a long way to go. As for everything else in life I have to say something like Bilbo Baggins says in Hobbit “I am not a hero” never promised I will be and I never will be and I never wanted to be one. So don’t expect to see me flying in tights wearing my underwear outside my tights.
   Here is a crazy thought, it sounds crazy now but this Lone Looney will make it real. Stop working and start living life in my own way. 2013 and years to come, here I come. For now, I am just starting to think to figure out the necessary resources to live in my own way. Peace folks.

 

Some of these may be a bit controversial… Don’t ask me question based on these. You will never, ever get an answer.

It is new year in many parts of the world.. but not in my neck of the woods.. Here life is still frozen in 2012. So what happened to me in the year passed?

1) What a happy new year I thought when 2012 was born.
2) Twins tried to date me. I walked away because a sweet darling I call “My Darling” in another language ruled me.
3)”My Darling” eventually decided. ‘This is it, I cannot tolerate the stress I get when I communicate with the Lone, Loony.
4) I tried to move on… wild dates, new models, new poem ideas… alas… all collapsed as I know I cannot love anymore.
5) As expected life came to a grinding halt.
6) Alia Mustafina and Gabby Douglas shown the world what speed, balance and control means.
7) Queen Elizabeth celebrated 60 years on throne.. Here is my question, Why? Why these stupid British still celebrate a monarch and her lavishness in the 21st century?
8) As I predicted, apocalypse did not happen.
9) My chosen candidate Obama won but I am afraid of his addiction to caving in front of unpatriotic conservatives.
10) Prostitutes named ‘Sandy’ were in high demand in New York area after Hurricane Sandy slammed North East. Many men after having sex with prostitutes named ‘Sandy’ yelled “I fucked Sandy”.
11) Economy in Europe is like women in 50s… All of a ruin.
12) After nearly 25 years I wept when I saw the little faces of angels shot down at an elementary school in CT.
13) Kim Kardashian is pregnant, Here is my question, Will the T.V people be able to “keep up” with her pregnancy and delivery?
14) 2013 is galloping at us. Lets not gallop ahead but just get along in peace and prosperity for all.
